A captive educational Great Horned Owl's eye reflects the images of a group of photographers capturing his image. I wondered if he was reflecting on the days of his freedom before he was injured and rescued.

Nature is what my soul craves. Whether it be wildlife or just a pretty landscape, it makes me happy. My purpose in capturing these images is to share them with others that may not realize what they are missing. Life gets in the way for all of us and we need to make it a priority to take time to look, listen and appreciate the beauty around us. Your soul craves this also. Maybe you just don’t realize it yet.
